It's good old Google that helped me to find your website. I went to HP website and couldn't find any help. My HP 1315 is over a year old and it just now started printing the test page everytime I turn it on. All I did was turn off my computer and restart and voila, it was gone. why does HP not state that on their website? Also I had a document that got stuck on the printing queue (spelling?) and HP printer trouble shooter has too many steps to solve the problem. I tried lizardza's solution and it helped. I hope something will work, because it's just a waste of ink and paper! (ink especially, because it costs more!) HP ink is supposed to work? I'll try that, once I get new ink, and if it persists I'll try scanning that page. My ink, and now I have none left for printing off resumes :( Usually I don't have paper in the printer, but for all the times I did have paper in it. Every time it turns on it tries to print that test page. I have the same problem with my HP PSC 1500. Then it will stop printing the test page ( alignment page ) ever again. ( it makes a scanning noise when scanning succesfully ) ( sometimes you press the butoon and it doesn't scan ) Make sure that the printer scans the test page. (this is the button at the bottom of all the buttons on the printer/scanner.) Then press the scan button on the printer itself. Take the test page ( also called : alighnment page ) thatĪlways prints when you switch on the printer and place it face down in Unnisa must scroll up to the solution offered by tsedawa above. I think this is not a solution but a further question.
